I've recently made the decision

which i think you guys call a fader...so far i'm pretty much got away with it.

my close family are in the truth love them to bits and i seriously dont want to alienate them- my story is a positive one, they have accepted that i dont go to meetings anymore and although they arent pleased they accept my viewpoint.

i am not a bitter ex-witness, i enjoyed my time meeting people while i was a witness although a lot shunned me after and a few years before i went 'public'

New studies project that the Arctic Ocean could be mostly open water in summer by 2040 — several decades earlier than previously expected — partly as a result of global warming caused by emissions of greenhouse gases..... The projections come from computer simulations of climate and ice and from direct measurements showing that the amount of ice coverage has been declining for 30 years..... The latest modeling study, being published today in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, was led by Marika Holland of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo..... The study involved seven fresh simulations on supercomputers at the atmospheric center, as well as an analysis of simulations developed by independent groups. in the 20 years of my wts days i dont' remember any.

We had a number of chiros in our circuit. A few lawyers, and two doctors if I remember right.

Don't Quite Know What To Make of This

i had my kids last weekend, and they seemed hapy, and content.

i called a couple of times earlier this week as usual, to see how they are doing, and got the answering machine.

I think you are being hypersensitive to Blondie's post. She wasn't saying you did anything, but trying to give you all sorts of options/ideas. Also what reality is, and what percieved reality in the mind of a JW are two different things. Is your wife actually in violation of any of the court ordered actions? From your post it seems like she just moved to a new suburb, in with her mother. Do any of these things violate the court issued guidelines? If they do I would certainly make sure you either document them for use in the future or pursue your rights as outlined by your custody agreement now. Best of luck!

Also, the JW's don't want to "do" anything. Far easier to claim someone else will fix all of our problems. Why God would want Witnoids in charge of a restored Earth is beyond me. Let's face it JW's don't enjoy the resources now. They drive around in minivans wasting petrol to knock on doors of empty house of folks who aren't interested in talking with them. They surely don't enjoy their weekends to simply relax and enjoy their surroundings, nor take long vacations into the wild/bush, or take time to actually learn something about their physical surroundings. I've never once met a JW who was on a "Clean Up the Beach", or "Clean Our Streams" type outing that our local Sierra Club sponsers. Again....why would they be allowed to become stewards over the Earth, when they have no idea how to take care of it now. The JW mentality of nailing an Awake magazine on a 400 year old oak tree to save it somehow I find lacking.

You may or may not like Al Gore, however he wrote his "Eco" book, Earth in the Balance back in 1992. He was at the forefront of warning folks about global warming. Since then CO2 concentrations have continued to rise, and we've done little to staunch the flow. So take issue all you want, he's been pretty clear in his views for over 20 years, and most of the predicitions his book made back in 1992 have come to pass.
